QME Gastroenterology Services

The Rahban Institute offers a range of examinations and procedures to identify and address injuries to the digestive system. Dr. Rahban performs detailed personal physical exams of patients during an initial office visit. If indicated in a specific case, he may conduct certain GI procedures to further determine the proper diagnosis for a questioned GI condition. Patients will receive an unbiased diagnosis, expert analysis and suggestions for treatments and care.

Complete and detailed reports are usually available immediately after the patients examination.

Dr. Rahban is a Qualified Medical Examiner (QME) and Panel QME certified in the state of California, as well as an Agreed Medical Evaluator (AME) in cases of Workers Comp. The techniques developed at The Rahban Institute are used effectively to determine an award of compensation or its denial, and whether an entitlement rating falls within guidelines for total impairment or apportionment.

Dr. Rahban is also a medical provider for several Medical Provider Networks (MPN) managed by Insurance carriers for treatment of workers injured on the job. An MPN doctor is approved by the California Division of Workers’ Compensation.
